An Update for American Citizens in Japan  3/23/2011  By American Embassy Tokyo , Marine Corps Bases Japan  JAPAN  — (Updated March 22, 8:30 p.m. JST) http://www.marines.mil/unit/mcbjapan/Pages/2011/110322-message.aspx

We all recognize the enormous impact that the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, as well as the resulting dangerous situation at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant, has had on Japan. The United States is continuing to do everything it can and should do to support our close friends, the people of Japan, as they respond to this disaster. This includes providing humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, technical expertise as well as equipment as requested. The American people have also opened up their hearts. Many have given generously to support the ongoing relief efforts. As President Obama said on March 17, we are confident that Japan will recover and rebuild because of the strength and spirit of the Japanese people.

At the same time, this disaster has had a signifi…

DOES SHEEN HAVE A PRAYER? By: Michael D. Tobin March9, 2011

***DEC. 8, 2012 UPDATE***

Many of us tend to see things on a so-called "global" perspective, and can't see the importance of a constant focus on a gnat, while theres a whole swarm around the world. With that in mind, it's also important to realize God focusses specifically on you as well. So here's a small focus that started with one man, Charlie Sheen, and now includes another, Co-star ctor, Angus T. Jones. Celebrity, business man/woman, rich or poor; doesn't matter. A soul saved is a soul saved. In light of Angus T. Jones of Two And a Half Men expressing his faith, here's an update article on his possible future or lack thereof, with two and a Half men. And maybe even with Charlie Sheen's new sit-com, "Anger Management?" Also, a 14 min. video of his Christian testimony. CBS CEO Les Moonves gets snarky over Angus T. JonesBy Yahoo! Prayer At The Pump, and Pray For Orderly Priorities, Gas, Driving and Recreation by: Michael D. Tobin

Prayer At The Pump, and Pray For Orderly Priorities, Gas, Driving and Recreation by: Michael D. Tobin

Gasoline, driving, recreation and priorities. We all have all these in different order. It's like no two people are the same. It changed for me when I prayed to God for all of this to be orderly and for some strange reason in the universe I got above and beyond what I could ask for, though I did specifically pray to be close to work. Talk about above and beyond. After the gas prices from mid-2008 reduced to near $2.00/gal, I got a job as a maintenance Supervisor for San Diego's largest property management company, where I live where I work, reducing my commute travel/gas expenses to $0 a month.
In 2008 with gas prices in the mid $4 range, I was filling up in Tijuana at half the price. Somehow, in the latter part of 2008, prices dropped below $3.00/gal. I was inspired to pray about my priorities, gasoline, driving and recreation in 2008 when the news showed a group …

http://debka.com/article/20718/ Honor guard on Iranian waship at Latakia for Iranian, Syrian Navy chiefs. These "cadets" are actually construction workers.

I remember being in Syria on Bible school trips twicw; once in 1992 and again in 1993. I remember the open air "art gallery" in Syria overlooking the Golan Heights with paintings of Syrian army tanks victoriously riding over the Israeli flag. My photos of those pictures never came back to me from the photo development we used such a short time ago, when digital and cell phones and cameras did not exist.
Israel has been nothing but a good friend to the United States, but with several past U.S. Presidential administrations, we have forced Isreal to accept less than they deserve. How terrible it is to sit and do nothing while your country is being missiled relentlessly for months, and indiscriminately for years. There is way more than what meet…
