I'd be happy if people would just learn to not be so easily herded. Have you ever seen a Mexican/American with real or fake dreadlocks? No way! They got the lowrider. And it's made leaps and bounds, hailed as awesomness in to every color of American society. Soon children of Arab refugees will be creating lowriders. How about hair extensions? You see where This is going? America is an entrepreneurial paradise, right? This is interesting triviality. A very popular news blog, PJ Media headline reads, "Why Hollywood Is Weaponizing Nostalgia Against Trump—from 'Laugh-In' to "All in the Family' to 'The Jefferson's'" But when did nostalgia rise? The early 1990's with stonewashed and pre bleached jeans, I suppose. But then again, the mid-1970's saw the Urban Cowboy thanks to pop-country hits from Kenny Rogers, Glen Campbell and others. Also, where would the capital of nostalgia be located? The US South? Amish-country? You can say that. Cowboy boots, western hats and attire actually never went away. 19th century handmade clothing and farm hats and bonnets is really about as nostalgic as it gets, if there's some competition going on. Horse-and-buggy used faithfully by the Amish have definitely stood the test of time. And we're concerned about the Trump era being exploited by Hollywood's quest for ill-gotten gain? No. I'm not concerned at all. I still have a fraction of an ounce of faith in the human race. It will be seen for what it is. Another obvious re-boot of the anti-Nixon era that didn't even last into the 1980's. That's another story. But you could say the so called hippy reboot made a concerted effort to rise again, but even they had to settle for their own descriptive, 'hipsters.' The older 'hippy' generation just wouldn't have it, the nerve of a bunch of late 1990's kids attempting to identify with something they'll never have a clue of no matter what mainstream media peddles to their audience. It actually took from the late 1990's well into the. 2nd decade of the 21st century for the recently coined, 'hipster' movement to catch on And hardly any sooner of it's final acceptance as it's pseudo normal social acceptance, (not before investors had a chance to actually profit, though) and proof of the hipster demise is - get ready for it - the so called, man bun. Really? Now they're really going back. Japanese shogun anybody? I think I'd rather settle for a Colonial man- blouse.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Would you please consider supporting my blog and web-based audio/video pursuit? My broadcasting days began in 1989, as I was a deejay, Prod. Mgr and News Director with then, WPES in Ashland, VA, from 1989-94. I did it all for FREE-volunteer, while in Bible school! I desire to respond FULL-TIME to disaster sites sharing the love of Jesus at hurricane, tornado, fires and other disasters as a Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplain, as I've responded several times since 2003, and for my goal for being on the highest tier-levels on Spreaker and PodBean, to broadcast from future assignments and missions trips stateside and abroad. I just had to cancel my subscription to my previous Spreaker podcasting platform and am now on a lesser tier, until I can gain listener support and be full-time boots on the ground to cover California and the world, with the Gospel and events as a watchman on the wall ( Isaiah 21: 6-8 6 Meanwhile, the Lord said to me, “Put a watchman on the city wall. Let him shout out what he sees. 7 He should look for chariots drawn by pairs of horses, and for riders on donkeys and camels. Let the watchman be fully alert.” 8. Then the watchman called out, “Day after day I have stood on the watchtower, my lord. Night after night I have remained at my post.) My pursuit is to have various LIVE simultaneous podcasting/video platforms. Nothing is too hard for God! (-; My ultimate goal is for souls saved, and praying for the world in it's many aspects.
