Be Not Soon Shaken Jesus and Elections 2020
Be Not Soon Shaken Jesus and Elections 2020
By: Michael D Tobin
November 7, 2020
Friday's homeless outreach was spectacular but of course video was almost destroyed but I somehow found it elsewhere in my files after inadvertently deleting it. The following message was on Friday November 6, 2020, the evening before the first official announcement that former USVPOTUS Joe Biden, under former POTUS Barack Obama, won the 2020 Presidential election, along with his VPOTUS choice, California Senator Kamala Harris, of the Democrat ticket. The rest is yet to come, however, after current POTUS Donald Trump goes through the courts, re-counts and elections investigations over the myriad of voting irregularities in the voting process.
With that said, nearly 24 hours after my message last nigh and a good night's sleep, I have had challenges in my video filing and uploading process like I have never had before, but still, I have had previous challenges unique in their own ways. Basically, when you are doing the Lord's business, there is friction. And ironically, my message actually covered part of how it was for doing the Lord's business in Biblical times. Most specifically, this is about Jesus.
But in order for me to finally present in video form (the audio recording was pitch perfect and had no glitches whatsoever, and in fact, I was able to capture it in DOLBY for the first time), I had to make 2 recordings to capture the whole message in order to have at least the youtube source. I will just say that podcasting is not for the faint-of-heart.
Following are video and audio links, and the Scriptural references to Friday's message at God's Extended Hand ministry in Downtown San Diego, where I minister monthly. You may navigate on my youtube and podcast channels for previous GEH messages and download free. Below I have listed all the podcast sites where my podcast is heard everywhere.
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
NEHEMIAH 4:15 When our enemies heard that we were aware of their plot and that God had frustrated it, we all returned to the wall, each to his own work.

GALATIANS 1:18:24
Paul Accepted by Apostles and Others
18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. 19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother. 20 Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not. 21 Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; 22 And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ: 23 But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed. 24 And they glorified God in me.

RANDY STONEHILL wrote today, reminding us of Nehemiah 6:9,
For they all wanted to frighten us, thinking, “Their hands will drop from the work, and it will not be done.” But now, O God, strengthen my hands.
Nehemiah 6:9
Whenever we commit to do what the Lord calls us to do, the enemy will try to distract, confuse, and frighten us. Let us not be surprised or discouraged, but prepare our hearts for that reality and keep our eyes fixed on the beautiful face of Jesus!!
Somebody said, "Don't be furious. Be curious."

The Light of the Gospel
2Corinthians 4:1-18 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Treasures in Jars of Clay
(Romans 6:1-14)
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

JOHN 20:30,31
The Purpose of John's Book
30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

SALVATION IN JESUS- ROMANS 10:8-13
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Would you please consider supporting my blog and web-based audio/video pursuit? My broadcasting days began in 1989, as I was a deejay, Prod. Mgr and News Director with then, WPES AM1430 in Ashland, VA, from 1989-94. I did it all for FREE-volunteer, while in Bible school! I desire to respond FULL-TIME to disaster sites sharing the love of Jesus at hurricane, tornado, fires and other disasters as a Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplain, as I've responded several times since 2003, and for my goal for being on the highest tier-levels on Spreaker and PodBean, to broadcast from future locations and missions trips stateside and abroad. My goal is to achieve listener support and be full-time boots on the ground to cover from sea to shining sea and the world, with the Gospel and events as a watchman on the wall (Isaiah 21:6-8). Meanwhile, the Lord said to me, “Put a watchman on the city wall. Let him shout out what he sees. 7 He should look for chariots drawn by pairs of horses, and for riders on donkeys and camels. Let the watchman be fully alert.” 8. Then the watchman called out, “Day after day I have stood on the watchtower, my lord. Night after night I have remained at my post.) My pursuit is to have various LIVE simultaneous podcasting/video platforms. Nothing is too hard for God! (-; My ultimate goal is for souls saved, and praying for the world in it's many aspects.
