Also ahead is an update on Franklin Graham, founder of humanitarian organization Samaritans Purse, and President of his late father's ministry, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. 

I've been a BGRRT Chaplain since 2003, responding to national prayer events, hurricane aftermath and fires bringing the hope of Jesus to the many hurting and suffering as a result of these disasters. I haven't met Franklin Graham yet, but without putting him on a pedastool, I have never heard or read of him denying Jesus or the Scriptures, as many of us have, from time to time. And I speak for myself as well. But here's a portion of Jesus speaking to Peter before being arrested and ultimately crucified. This cancel culture garbage is going towards Franklin Graham now. The World Council Of Churches is demanding he step down from BGEA and Samaritans Purse because of  statements he made in tweets and Facebook. World Council of Churches are new world order all the way and they are definitely not Christian as they claim. Even George Soros recently helped fund them. That's like Satan saying here's some money for the cause. So I'm gathering references for a podcast about it when there's so many other things I could be doing like seeing 3 Days In The Grave perform LIVE! HAHA. I'll be there lol.

So with that said, here's another break to a song from my friends, 3 Days In The Grave, titled, My Love For You.

I just had a conversation with a friend on Morse Code and a video tutorial he showed me. 

It was pretty interesting. I watched another one after his, too. I was conveying a point in an earlier post on social media that any form of technical, audio, video and written communication is going to have various risk if privacy is a concern. What it boils down to is it will work until it is shut down and or infiltrated. If push comes to shove, secret written messages, code and horseback is the most dependable. That was in reference to people switching over from major online social media sites to more private ones. Cancel culture is a big example now, various anti American groups now calling for Franklin Graham to step down from his Dad's ministry and his own because he believes something mainstream media and politicians don't want anybody to believe.

It has been a tremendously daunting several days and 2 weeks with a cold, and staying home from work, as we in California are at least 20 days in shelter-at-home as well. So before returning to work Tuesday after Easter holiday, I redeemed the time by doing as much as possible to make this season memorable and a blessing and to share as much as possible some of my favorite indie artists and friend's music online.

This is an Easter like no other in recent memory. Since COVID-19 completely altered life as we know it several weeks ago, the word “uncertainty” has popped up everywhere, from email inboxes to every major news program.

Earlier today, Franklin Graham, joined by longtime ministry friend Michael W. Smith, spoke to people about one thing that is certain—a message that doesn’t change with the passing of time or the rise and fall of a pandemic.

In a special Fox News Channel broadcast filmed this past week in New York City, the hardest hit city in the United States, Graham and Smith acknowledged the danger and severity of the coronavirus as they stood in front of an emergency field hospital set up by Samaritan’s Purse. Medical professionals, along with chaplains from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s Rapid Response Team, have been serving there as the field hospital takes in overflow from Mt. Sinai Hospital across the street.

“Twenty-nine years ago,” Franklin Graham shared during the Easter broadcast, “my father [Billy Graham], just right over here, preached here in Central Park, and I remember that so well. The city was quiet that day. It’s like so many people had come to hear him preach, there was kind of quietness over the city, and here we are on Easter and once again we’re in this city, and it’s quiet, and this time it’s for certainly a different reason, and it’s the coronavirus that has gripped not only our nation but the world.”

From behind his keyboard, Michael W. Smith shared a few thoughts.

“You might be asking … ‘Where are you, God? Where are you in the midst of this plague?'” Smith said. He acknowledged he doesn’t have all the answers, but whatever is happening around us today doesn’t lessen the message of Easter. If anything, today’s events highlight even more the great drama that unfolded just before that first Easter when Jesus was raised to life after a gruesome death on the cross.

“When I consider what is happening in our time, and sitting here on the ground where the battle is perhaps fiercest against this foe we all face in common, I think about Jesus when He was hanging on the cross, on another collision course, heaven and hell, life and death,” Smith said. “Here we are where calamity and hope collide, and where your sin and mine and the cross collide as well.”

It’s sin that separates people from God, and the price of that sin is death—eternal separation from God. But Jesus, who was sinless, stepped in to take our place because of His great love for us. His death on a cross covered our punishment, He was buried in a tomb and His resurrection three days later defeated death so that all who trust in Him will live forever with Him in heaven.

“The penalty of sin is death, but Jesus took the death,” Franklin Graham explained. “He took the shame of the cross. He took the sins past, present, future to the cross, and He died in our place on the cross. So, on Easter morning we celebrate not a tomb with a body in it. We celebrate an empty tomb.”

During the half-hour program, Graham told three stories of people in the Bible whose situations seemed hopeless. There was a blind man named Bartimaeus who was reduced to begging because he had no way to make a living. There was a contagious leper no one wanted to be near. There were the disciples who went out on a boat and feared for their lives when caught in a storm.

But Jesus, Graham said.

Jesus gave the blind man his sight, He healed the leper, and He calmed the storm.

“Jesus knows how to take those hopeless situations and turn them around, and He can do that for your life.”

What’s your storm? Those tuning in to the broadcast may be dealing with money problems, job loss or marriage difficulties, he said.

“Jesus knows how to take those hopeless situations and turn them around, and He can do that for your life,” Graham said. “He can turn the hopeless situation of your life a hundred and eighty degrees. He can turn it around, but you’ve got to be willing to trust Him.”

That doesn’t mean everything will be perfect.

“If you come to Christ, you don’t get some kind of pass where you don’t have to go through storms. No, we’ll still have storms in life. We’ll still have viruses or whatever else comes down our path in life, but He promises to be with us.”

Standing before some of New York’s skyscrapers outlining Central Park, and within view of the field hospital constantly receiving COVID-19 patients, Graham made a final appeal during the broadcast—and for all reading this now.

“It’s my hope and prayer that you have trusted Him as your Savior this Easter, that He’s the Lord of your life, and if you haven’t done it, do it now. We don’t know if we’ll have another opportunity. We don’t know what next week holds.”

THREE Lodi church refusing to comply with stay-at-home orders

My response to Constitutionality of places of worship being restricted, even though safety measures exceed all public essential retail stores such as bigbox and local grocery stores, is, there are a "few" schools of thought on this. I am of the majority, that I would take the near-zero tolerance rout and stay home and participate online, mostly because I have the ability to do so. But many don't. 
The Church has left the building for a second.The US GOV doesn't have the time for us to fight them and they have nowhere to put us all if we do fight them so there's no point in fighting those who are not even equipped to fight. So really, there's a time for and a time not for, everything. And it's just not time to be a royal pain in the rear.
2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.  Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
 I can write so much more but this is a situation that we can let "slide" "just this time." But these law suits are absolutely necessary in order for this infringement to not happen again. At least not legally and with an armed rebellion.  I've looked at all the angles. Sooner or later, the Church and the USSCOTUS will be tied up with similar cases all over the U.S.. Already, we have Punta Gorda, FL with Rodney Howard Brown and this in Lodi, CA simultanious. Many church campuses are well equipped to "heed" guiidelines. It is not just religious meetings that are being falsely prohibited. Soon we will begin having a, "state your allegiance" mentality within many different groups accross our nation, if this pandemic melee continues. Our country can not continue to have situations that are debatable, at best, whether they are man-induced or nature's way. It is not unreasonable to expect all areas of society to be cooperative and sensible. But to pretend that a compliance is legal is utterly repulsive to our form of government and the U.S. Constitution. This pandemic is being abused, in order to trifle with our U.S. Constitution, and I don't see it continuing for long.

Following is a May 09, 2018 USA Today article regarding the North Korean prisoner release of three Asian American citizens. 'God Bless America': Freed American prisoners thankful after being released from North Korea , and Franklin Graham's May 10 response to this article, and President Trump's intervening for their release, along with many thousands of Believers throughout the world, praying for this particular prisoner's release, of Tony Kim.

It is a tremendous blessing to see Franklin Graham so concerned about all things American as well as the Gospel, and to recognize and present so many good things about our country. We have not seen anything yet. And I mention him in my book, "Making America Righteous-Again: From Bitterness To A Delight". (Search Amazon key words, "Micheal D. Tobin"). I detail in a couple of the 14 chapters my involvement with Franklin Graham's, Samaritan'a Purse, and the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains, disaster response ministries since 2003 through which I was blessed to be a part of after Hurricane's Katrina, Rita, and others in the states of Florida, Louisians and Texas, as well as two of San Diego County's worst fires ever, in 2003 and 2007. My e-book was published in January 1, 2016, near the beginning of Trump's campaign. But if you listened to my interview with an American missionary to China and the world, a friend of mine a couple months ago, you would have caught the concept of, "a back door to the President" that tends to increase protection for innocent Christians in prisons throughout Asia. Included in our discussion was the case such as former White House occupant, Barack Obama, was the worst President ever, for American persecuted Christians who literally are imprisoned, tortured and often die because of their physical neglect of health conditions and torture, as well as another American who is a US Marine veteran who was falsely imprisoned in Mexico for several months in 2016, through President Trump's intervention while he was merely campaigning for President, and everyone thought he was going to lose. So now it is evident our current POTUS is becoming one of the best, with the release of these three American citizens and more, regardless of their faith or secular beliefs. Praise God for this miracle for these three Americans.

Dear friend and visitor to my blog, it is nothing short of miraculous how many ways God has allowed me to go through doors no man can open and have door shut that no man can shut, ( Isaiah 22:22 NIV- I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.)

Christian Persecution and Decision America 2017 Debut Episode (UPDATES)

(May 12, 2017 Day 3 Franklin Graham Update: At this World Summit, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and talking with many who have experienced the horrors of persecution firsthand. Today I met a woman from Iran whose father was hanged to death because of his faith. I spent time with two men whose brothers were among the Coptic Christians marched out on the beach in Libya and viciously beheaded by ISIS for refusing to deny Christ—then the video published for all the world to see. I met a dear pastor from Uzbekistan who was arrested and imprisoned for 4 years for proclaiming the Gospel. A man from Sudan who was horribly beaten and tortured for preaching the Gospel. Someone from Mexico who was repeatedly beaten, their church burned, and the people from the church made to leave at gunpoint and walk over broken glass, barefoot as they left the city. The stories go on and on. We may think that in the United States we are far removed from such persecution, but we are not. We have a responsibility to pray for those enduring suffering because they carry the name of Christ. The Bible says, “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering” (Hebrews 13:3).

Dr. Ravi Zacharias, one of the great Christian apologetics teachers of our time, was one of our speakers today; and Reverend Sami Dagher from Beirut, Lebanon, who I have ministered with for over 40 years will address the group tonight.)

(May 11, 2017 UPDATE: Day 2 of the summit: Day #2 of the World Summit. Vice President Mike Pence told the group, “So, know, those of you that stare persecution in the face every day in distant lands, you have the prayers of the American people, the prayers of my family, and you have the prayers of the president of the United States.” There is a great comfort and strength in knowing others are praying for you—your prayers for the persecuted are vital.) 

(May 10, 2017 UPDATE: Day 1 of the summit: From Rev Franklin Graham: "The opening session of the World Summit in Defense of Persecuted Christians tonight was powerful. Over 600 participants, church leaders, and advocates from 136 countries plus staff from Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse were there and heard first-hand testimonies of persecution. Family members of the Egyptian men who were beheaded by ISIS on that beach two years ago were among those with us. I hope you will commit to pray for those living in difficult and dangerous circumstances in so many countries around the world. The Bible tells us, “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” But we must remember that no one has suffered more than our Lord Jesus Christ. (May 7, 2017 UPDATE: As I walked through a burned-out shell of a church near Mosul, Iraq, just a few weeks ago, our translator told me that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria graffiti scrawled on the walls read, “You love life, we love death.” Members of ISIS had painted their flag and written, “We have come to drink your blood.” And Iraq isn't the only place Christians are being persecuted and killed around the world. I will be updating it as Franklin Graham's Decision America 2017 prayer tours progress in the various states visited. 

As you may know, there is a good reason for myself covering these events, besides being a born again Believer and an American citizen doing whatever I can, however and whenever I can, to fulfill the Great Commission. 

I have been a Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplain since 2003, and began with the Samaritan's Purse in San Diego during the San Diego October Fires, 2003, and have deployed to Florida, Texas and Louisiana several times since then, including the aftermaths of Hurricane Katrina. Twice to Louisiana, once to Texas and once to Florida. My last two assignments were the 2007 San Diego October Fires and the 2016 Franklin Graham Decision America Prayer Tour in Sacramento, California, on March 31, 2016 just the 13th stop of all 50 State Capitals prior to the Nov 2016 elections.

I am extremely compelled to cover whatever I can concerning anything I may be involved with, when it comes to the Gospel. 

So in keeping this brief, I will continue with the beginning of Rev Graham's major appeal to the world, and to us, in the U.S., to please be a part in these tragic, yet historical times, and seize the opportunity to be an influence and a light, as Jesus encourages us to be the salt and the light of the world.

During the recent Easter season, we saw the slaughter of Christians in the Middle East—with radical Islamists celebrating the massacres.
In Egypt on Palm Sunday, terrorists carried out bomb attacks at two prominent churches, killing 44 people and turning morning services into scenes of blood-spattered pews, mangled bodies, and worshipers in shock. More than 125 were injured. Many of the dead and injured were children.
That evening, an NBC News reporter who covers the Middle East summed up the bigger picture for his worldwide audience: “ISIS attacks Christians with horrifying regularity.”
That certainly includes Christians in northern Iraq, where I visited on Easter. Hundreds of thousands of believers in Iraq have been forced by violence to flee their homes—125,000 just in the last year. Churches are being blown up, families torn apart, and large numbers of Christians kidnapped and tortured or slaughtered for the Name of Jesus.
It’s not just in the Middle East—more than 90,000 people around the globe lost their lives in the past year because they were followers of Christ. Millions more live under constant threat of intimidation, physical attack, or harm to their family or livelihood.
In India, a church was burned down or a pastor beaten an average of 10 times a week last year. In Mexico, 23 Christians were murdered specifically because of their obedience to Jesus. In northern Nigeria, dozens of villages have been burned in the past few months by anti-Christian militants, hundreds of believers killed, and 1,400 homes and 16 churches destroyed. One Nigerian bishop says it is as though Christian families, their churches, and their schools have “become target practice.”
These are our brothers and sisters in the Lord. We must wake up and pay attention to what is happening. It’s time to get up and do something—if we don’t, it will soon be too late.
That’s why we’re hosting the World Summit in Defense of Persecuted Christians this month in Washington, D.C. We have invited 600 delegates from 130 countries all over the world. They include Christian leaders experienced in dealing with various forms of persecution, people active in helping victims, and more than 120 delegates who themselves have been imprisoned, tortured, or forcibly exiled for their faith.
We’re bringing them to Washington for the summit. I want the politicians and the national news media—and the American church—to see and hear firsthand what’s taking place. We want to put a big spotlight on the persecution that is happening to Christians around the world.
One pastor I know in northern Iraq, whose church building is now the center of a refugee camp, said: “Genocide—that’s a polite word for what has happened to my people.” The pastor himself was kidnapped and brutally tortured for nine days because he boldly bears the Name of Christ. “People here will die if they lose hope,” he says. “People will die if they feel no one loves them. I want Christians to speak out and tell the world.”
We want to speak as one voice to the countries where persecution is taking place. And we want to stir Christians and churches to pray for those who are being persecuted and also for those who persecute them. The Bible says, “Love your enemies … pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:27–28, HCSB).
We are grateful for your support as we hold this conference. A large number of the delegates are coming from places where Christians live in poverty and churches are small—they could never afford to travel internationally without our assistance. Most of all, we need your prayers. Ask God to use this unprecedented gathering to make a difference around the globe.
A few days after the summit, I will begin our Decision America Tennessee Tour. We’ll go across the state with the Good News of Jesus Christ, starting in Chattanooga and ending in Memphis on the Mississippi River. At each stop, we will enjoy live music, pray for our nation, and share the life-changing truth of the Gospel.
In America, the great majority of people know something about Jesus, but far too many don’t know Him as Savior and Lord. By preaching one night each in multiple cities across a state or region, I believe we can reach many more with God’s message of salvation than at a multi-day Crusade in a single larger city. Later this year we will go to seven cities on the Decision America Texas Tour. As God leads, we’ll do the same in more states next year.
My son Will Graham is back from a Crusade in Pachuca, Mexico, where more than a thousand people prayed for forgiveness and salvation as they turned in faith to the Lord Jesus Christ. We praise God for drawing so many to Himself, and we give Him all the glory. Will is leading a region-wide evangelistic event May 5–7 in Dothan, Alabama. Please pray for open hearts and many changed lives.
