Senators Announce Agreement on Russia Sanctions
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Chairman Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), Ranking Member Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker (R-Tennessee) and Ranking Member Ben Cardin (D-Maryland) today announced a bipartisan agreement on legislation to strengthen and expand current U.S. sanctions on Russia.
The amendment to the underlying Iran sanctions bill maintains and substantially expands sanctions against the government of Russia in response to the violation of the territorial integrity of the Ukraine and Crimea, its brazen cyber-attacks and interference in elections, and its continuing aggression in Syria.
The amendment will:
· Provide for a mandated congressional review if sanctions are relaxed, suspended or terminated.
· Codify and strengthen existing sanctions contained in executive orders on Russia, including the sanctions’ impact on certain Russian energy projects and on debt financing in key economic sectors.
· Impose new sanctions on: corrupt Russian actors; those seeking to evade sanctions; those involved in serious human rights abuses; those supplying weapons to the Assad regime; those conducting malicious cyber activity on behalf of the Russian government; those involved in corrupt privatization of state-owned assets; and those doing business with the Russian intelligence and defense sectors.
· Allow broad new sanctions on key sectors of Russia’s economy, including mining, metals, shipping and railways.
· Authorize robust assistance to strengthen democratic institutions and counter disinformation across Central and Eastern European countries that are vulnerable to Russian aggression and interference.
· Require a study on the flow of illicit finance involving Russia and a formal assessment of U.S. economic exposure to Russian state-owned entities. )

Last night in my "Notes" I said, God is doing a "new thing" unsure of exact nature but the U.S. is directly effected by Poland, and the Obama admin. reneged on a Bush agreement for arms withPoland, as they reneged with Israel. We need to be in prayer as all isn't as it seems. My former Pastor Wallace Heflin from Bible school always said "The world is topsy turvy and Israel is God's timeclock for the world's events"."

Israel and Syria Soon To Defend Themselves Against Turkey and The U.S.?

Brigitte Gabriel, born October 21, 1964, is a former Muslim, a conservative American journalist, author, political lecturer, anti-Islamic activist, and founder of two non-profit political organizations, the American Congress For Truth and ACT! for America. 

In this broadcast I have a link to a short clip from July of 2016, when this clip became viral, filmed at a conference for The Heritage Foundation, and the video has CNS News as the source of the particular video.  In it, a young Muslim/American law student asks why "all" Muslims are portrayed as terrorists,(which by the way is a deceptive question based on liberal mainstream narrative). And Brigitte Gabriel answers in a way that by now, we have seen that mainstream media still refuse to focus on, and we still don't know of any American/Muslim population actively denouncing terrorism, or mainstream media focusing on common sense and sensible dialogue. As I frequently say, "if it makes sense, there is no room for it in mainstream media." And I know this from 5 years as a AM Christian radio station news director and production manager within G.H.W. Bush's last year in office and Bill Clinton's first term. 
Today, there are two news headlines; One is, "Trump has first phone call with Turkey's President Erdogan", from the Chicago Tribune, http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-trump-turkey-erdogan-20170207-story.html , which includes a 2-sentence paragraph, of 15 paragraphs total, as follows: "A brief White House statement said the two discussed their "shared commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms." It said that Trump "reiterated U.S. support to Turkey as a strategic partner and NATO ally, and welcomed Turkey's contributions" to the campaign against the Islamic State."

Biblical prophecy author/broadcaster, Craig C. White, who I've interviewed several times on The Michael Tobin Show since the Syrian conflict began in 2011, refers this development quoting on his ministry website,  "The US probably views Turkey as the least bad choice to support in the Middle East. So I imagine that Trump will allow Turkey to invade Syria. There is already talk that the US plans to allow the Turkish Army to create a "safe zone" in Syria from Al-Bab to Hamah. This is the exact area that Jeremiah 49:23 identifies. Jeremiah says that after Hamah and Arpad (or Tell Rifaat) hear about a coming invasion then the residents of Damascus will flee and Damascus will be destroyed. Turkey is fighting for control over Al-Bab now. Al-Bab is located just thirty miles from Tell Rifaat." The poster of this article, when I saw it on a Christian news forum, asks who those missiles may be for, suggesting maybe for the U.S. or Israel. I kind of wondered the same thing back around 2011 when the U.S. armed Turkey's border with Patriot missiles then couple years later upgraded them. Do you think it may be that the region of Turkey is the one spoken of in Biblical prophecy, mistakenly referred to as Russia, when Syria will be invaded and Damascus destroyed? Then Israel invaded by the same? 
Craig C. White, whom I mentioned above, explains this very well, and in great detail. But judging by so many others comments and opinions on these and other articles, you would think that though they are all professed Christians, it would seem evident they don't even read their own Bibles. Today's church seems almost totally reliant on the pastor's notes, homework and sermons, but just listening does not get the message in one's spirit. We need to read and write ourselves. And it is when we truly take notes, read references given, write what we learn, and read the whole Bible for ourselves, that we will truly gain more comprehension and understanding of what the Lord wants us to know. We're in the 11th hour, folks, and we're about to meet Jesus in the air, as the Scriptures tell us. Let's read, pray and walk in the Light as Jesus is in the light, and pay heed to the scriptures. And I'll end this broadcast with these two passages: Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
