My Manhood Before And After Jesus

I was just thinking yesterday about how my manhood has changed from the way I was before I came to Jesus in 1989. My conclusion was that I know of few men who would willingly admit he used to be a sorry excuse for a human being before he came to Jesus. We all want to glorify our past in many ways. I had my heroes growing up as well that I had to re-think of why did I admire them so much. If I was half the man before that I am now, I would still be married and my children would be much better off. That's just the way it is. And there would be less pieces for God to pick up and put back together. There's no reason for us to continue making a mess for God. It's madness and insanity. A good first step for men who are Christians is to admit that he used to be a dirt bag and share that with younger Christians to save them much trouble ahead of time. Joyce Meyer said, "There's no sense in becoming a sneaky Christian from the beginning", before praying for hundreds w…

Sage Stallone News, Parents Outliving Children, & Public Knowledge of Celebs Family matters

I've read so many interesting, comforting, insightful, and even horrible comments by people who comment below internet news articles, following the passing of Sage Stallone, 36 yrs old.  My prayers go out to the Stallone family and friends. But I will focus on two thoughts that were brought up. (Yes, believe it or not, journalist or so-called journalists, get many of their ideas, now, from OUR comments. So be careful what you put out there. You're giving away your thoughts. Make whatever you write useful instead of foolishness). So, the following are my take on these thoughts that I'll call, "common thought".
  1.  It's selfish to believe "parents should never outlive their children". Too many people subscribe to false thinking in common cliches and catch-phrases. I have three children, in their mid and late 20's now. My oldest is a girl, and the two younger are boys, and I love them dearly. Today is my youngest's birthday. My middle child…

1.7 Mag Carlsbad, CA May 16, 2012 Earthquake Info Wiped off of The Web
Following this update, go to the bottom link, where I have more detail from my blog I wrote August, 2011.
I can't figure why this link no longer goes to the site. It wasn't wiped out good enough because the link is still there. And I provided the info that's stil available before it's no longer available. If you go to the usgs website and site-search for "Carlsbad, California", the link will appear. But the link won't direct you to the info page. There's a dormant volcano in Carlsbad, too. I wonder if property value and earthquake insurance is based on publically available seismic data? Here is what appears after the site-search from
