From Franklin Graham: Ontario has just passed Bill 89 that says parents could be accused of discrimination and abuse if they don't go along with their kids’ “gender expression.” Can you imagine having the government take your children away from you if the children decided they felt like switching their gender identity and you disagreed? This law is not supported by science, Scripture, logic, research, experience, or common sense. This is totalitarian and oppressive! I hope Bible-believing churches and Christians across Canada will stand against this wicked law that has been pushed by progressives and the LGBT community. This is another example of why who we vote for on the local, provincial, and national levels is so important! I want to talk a little bit on comedians and comedienne's. But first I will mention I have loved comedy all my life. So much so that I've done a couple open mic nights where surprisingly, I "killed it." And then, 3 years ago, I actually took a live course on comedy from Pauly Shore's sister, Sandy Shore. I even watched Pauly's routine during the time I was taking his sister's class, one night at the Comedy Store in La Jolla their Mom started, after he re-entered his comedy shows and began his latest tour. I didn't bother meeting him though because, well, you know. People have to flock around celebs and I really don't like that so much. Let me tell you though, that I learned a LOT. And Sandy is no push-over. She really knows the business, and regardless of any views she may have that maybe others don't share, it was a very rewarding experience and a valuable thing to actually learn from her. And I've got news; everybody in the world has their own life.

Onward now.

Jim Carrey on Kathy Griffin's stunt: “I think it is the job of a comedian to cross the line at all times — because that line is not real,” he responded. “If you step out into that spotlight and you’re doing the crazy things that [Trump] is doing, we’re the last line of defense. And really, the comedians are the last voice of truth in this whole thing.”

Basically, what many see Hollywood and television's portrayal of comedians as being, comedians are the BIGGEST bullies who most of their careers are based on picking on people they observe; only they tend to exaggerate and drag out the observation. Sometimes it's funny and sometimes not. I'd like to believe everyone knows this was NOT funny at all. But the real concern is that some like it. We'll always have that population who are just bound and determined to live their lives as vile and disgusting.

But as Christians, we know that is what Jesus is for. I listened to Kathy Griffin ask for forgiveness and whether they were just words from a soulless shell, or they were absolute sincere words, it is not our business to say anything else except for "I forgive you." After all, whether she realizes it or not, it was not President Trumps head only that she portrayed. She insulted and degraded everyone who voted for him, as well as our nation who should help out wherever we possibly can, regardless of who is President. 

But how is Kathy Griffin an example of the truth of the Scripture verse above? Well, sorry Jim Carrey, you must speak for yourself, because severing the President's head does not speak for every comedian who you infer is on a mission of hypothetical espionage.
Take Freddy Rubino for example. He is on the polar opposite of what you and Kathy G are pursuing. And by the way, Jim Carrey. How often do you need to be reminded it is bad form to be on any campaign against a President in a country you are an immigrant to? To my knowledge, you have been an American citizen since 2004? Well, you should wisely refrain from joining the foolishness. Don't ya think? You have much more to be thankful for than the rest of us, materially speaking. Try to encourage us. 
ANYWAY, I am speaking my own mind, while also being aware that I still love you and , ehem...and Kathy Griffin. It's not too difficult to believe and accept Jesus' words either. That, my friend, really does take divine assistance and it really does work. So let's all come off of our high horses and get real.

OH! Freddy Rubino. One of the rare comedians who don't make their living off of hate. That's all I'll say, but here's a clip of his response after KG's little attorney assisted press conference: 

So after listening to just one of obviously many comedian's who are now distancing themselves from KG after now calling a child a liar, etc...etc...etc..., and sooo many tv networks and venues dropping her. Does anyone really need to know how KG brought to light a perfect example of being trapped in their own snares? This was a publicity stunt because everyone actually forgot about her, and now she has succeeded in assaulting us with her existence. Basically, right?

So folks. Good folks. Don't worry. Not all in her show business and entertainment industry are stupid. It is mostly the stupid one's who get the attention though. But don't worry. 

NO, WE ARE NOT ALL GOD'S CHILDREN

Ireally like this article. Ive written on the same subject many times. It's good to know I'm not the only one with the same points. It's nearly exactly as I have previously written, except Matt Barber may have forgotten to add one more statement, from Jesus, Himself. And variousother Disciples and Apostles have also echoed the same descriptions referring distinctions of those who are children of God, and those who are literally, by choice, children of the devil. Here is my single reference from Jesus, to some Pharisees some of the religious leaders of that day, before the excellent article below.
John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”

You've heard it said that "We are all God's children." This rings flowery and nice.

It's an insidious lie.

Indeed, God both created and loves - in a way most unfathomable - everyone who ever lived. He wove us together in our mother's womb and numbered our every hair. But God the Father has only one begotten Son. The rest of us, in order to become one of God's children, must be adopted - in, by and through - the One Who is the Son: Jesus Christ. Those who are not adopted are not children of God. Christ and Christ alone is "the way, the truth and the life."

Indeed, to become a child of God, we must ask God - through Christ - to adopt us. We mustn't just believe upon Him - for "Even the demons believe that" (see James 2:19) - but, rather, we must also accept Him. We must follow Jesus, the one true God, as our only God. "But to all who believed him and accepted him (Jesus), he gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)

Don't believe? Don't accept? You have no right to become a child of God.

And that's unholy hell.

I'm not here to question God. I can neither fully understand nor explain why what He says is so. I can only convey to you that He unmistakably, unequivocally and without stuttering, says it is so.

And so it is so.

"'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the Lord. 'As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9)

The postmodern concept of religious pluralism is likewise an insidious lie. It's a relativist tool of deception, dreamed up the greatest of all deceivers. It's a false religion - jazzed-up paganism - propagated by the rulers, the authorities, the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (see Ephesians 6:12).

Merriam Webster defines "pluralism" - in the context of which I refer - as "a theory that there are more than one or more than two kinds of ultimate reality."

The goal of pluralist philosophy is to muddy the waters and divert mankind from the "narrow gate" that leads to eternal salvation (Jesus), while, at the same time, herding them along the "broad road" to eternal damnation (anything and everything that denies the singular and exclusive deity of Christ - or that rejects the certainty that He alone can save us from hell).

Pluralism is a non-starter. It's inherently self-defeating, contradictory and, frankly, just plain stupid. Pick your "ism" - be it progressivism, socialism, Hinduism, Buddhism, communism, Marxism, atheism, et al. - and central to each you will find the leavening lie of pluralism.

Each of the world's major religions fundamentally contradicts the other. They cannot all be true. Either one is true or none is true.

Jesus said, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it." (Matthew 7:13) Again, Jesus alone is that "narrow gate."

Here's the thing. You can deny Christ until the day you die. But after that, you will deny Him no more. Hate Him you may still, but deny Him you will not. Philippians 2:10-11 assures us, "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

John 3:36 warns: "Whoever believes in the Son (Jesus) has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."

Christ is both tolerant and intolerant - utterly exclusive and wholly inclusive. He said in no uncertain terms: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

Universalists, atheists, pluralists and other followers of false god's and religions, take note: Jesus, rather conspicuously, did not say: "No one comes to the Father except through me, the Buddha, Muhammad, Ganesh or L. Ron Hubbard."

The narrow gate to heaven is utterly exclusive.

Yet Christ also promised us this: "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light." (Matthew 11:28-29)

Romans 10:13 is even more direct: "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

The narrow gate to heaven is wholly inclusive.

If religious pluralism is true, which it cannot be, then Jesus is a liar. And if Jesus is a liar, then Carl Sagan was right when he said, "The Cosmos is all that is or was or ever will be."

Worm food.

Thank God Jesus is not a liar.

Still, some apostate, celebrity mega-church pastors like Rob Bell have become wealthy calling Jesus a liar. They teach the heretical doctrine of "universal salvation," which suggests that, ultimately, everyone ends up in heaven - even those who rejected Christ while here on earth.

Bell and others like him claim that "we're all God's children."

This is a pseudo-Christian form of religious pluralism that may well condemn untold millions - to include celebrity mega-church pastors like Rob Bell - to the unimaginable horror of eternal separation from God. (Rob, brother, I pray that you'll repent posthaste and ask Christ's forgiveness for both your heresy and for leading your flock to slaughter. He'll forgive you, just like he's forgiven me for all the crap I've pulled over the years.)

And the Truth will set you free.

Romans 8:1-2 promises: "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death."

By logical extension, the converse is true. There is condemnation for those who are not in Christ Jesus. Until and unless you believe upon, accept and follow Jesus - you remain imprisoned under the law of sin and death.

Unconvinced? You don't have to believe to quietly pray this simple prayer to yourself: "Jesus, if you're out there, please reveal yourself to me. If you're real, help thou my unbelief."

If I'm right - if Jesus is not a liar and He is who He says He is - then you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by inquiring further.

If you don't inquire further, you have everything to lose.

Mothers Day Message From A Mom & A Pastors Wife (Ps. Leanne Matthesius)

Following are my notes from Mothers Day Sunday morning, May 12, 2013. My Mom passed away at age 77 years, a week after Mother's Day 2012. I just found out this morning that because I trusted in His wisdom, guidance and comfort, that this very next Mother's Day was not so bad. In fact it turned out to be quite a blessing as I served in church and am genuinely happy for all mothers this day as I would be had my Mom still been with us. That is what my Mom would want, and ultimately, it is my Mom's many prayers in the past which is the reason I am still here now, and a born again Christian.
   Of the 25 years I've been following Jesus, and my whole life, I have never heard a woman give a Mothers Day message, and such is the irony and appreciation to be able to be there for a Mom's perspective on this special day. Most people mark their significant, monumental and profound life's experiences on spectacular or brilliant occasions, but for some reason all my landmarks seem to be the finer things of life, and this is one of them.
  Especially memorable is the end of this message (Don't cheat by reading the end first!) because it's such an easy thing to forget, and the last point hit me like a ton of bricks. From now on, after reading these notes and studying the focus Scripture references, you will, if you remember to do these things, have many times of tears of joy, rather than dismay and sorrow. God bless you as you read this.

1.She was called barren, but she AROSE. vs 9
2Kings 7:3 why sit here til we die!? What's true for the leppers is true for us
2.  She looked to GOD, praying and weeping in bitterness of soul. The final answer comes from the Lord.  Hannah directed her needs to the right place.  Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my help, strenth and shield.
3. 1Samuel 1:12 Hannah did not let offense deter her determination. Ability to not be offended is proportinate to how we are able to get along.  If hypocrites don't keep you from your job, why not keep hypocrisy from keeping you from church? 
4. Hannah changed what she spoke. If you change what you speak, you change what you see.
5. Hannah changed her countenance. Verse 18. After her end of speaking to God her face was no longer sad. In God's presence is fullness of joy. When God changes our sorrow to joy, it is greater than the parting of the Red Sea.
